Last night, former Barrie Colts defenceman Alex Pietrangelo won the Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues!
Not only did he win the Cup, but his goal would end up the game winner in the teams 4-1 victory over Boston. Pietrangelo also earned an assist in the game.

Alex Pietrangelo is now the fourth former Colts to hoist the Cup. Previous winners were Martin Skoula, Kyle Clifford and Tanner Pearson. Hopefully, the Colts will raise a banner for Pietrangelo at Barrie Molson Centre alongside the previous champions who have championship banners. Would be a nice way to kick off the teams 25th Anniversary season.

Pietrangelo finished the playoffs with 3 goals and 16 assists. Congratulations to Petro and the St. Louis Blues on their first Stanly Cup!
