Tonight the
Barrie Colts are in Sudbury to face the
Sudbury Wolves for the 4th meeting of this season. Barrie has won all 3 previous games and have outscored the Wolves 15-5 over those games. Barrie comes in to tonight's game at the top of the
Central Division while Sudbury continues to try and claw their way out of that bottom spot. It has been a slow start again for the Wolves this season. A win would leave them with 6 wins on the season. Though, not great it can be noted that the Wolves only won 12 games last season in regulation. With a few weeks until the halfway point of the
OHL regular season, it appears that the team is not only showing improvement with the on ice talent, but they are also on pace to have a more successful season as well as far as wins and losses. That being said, Barrie has not lost to the Wolves in the regular season since 2013-14 season. The Colts hope to extent that streak to 12 games tonight.

good job! |
The Colts enter Sudbury tonight after losing two games straight. It has been a tough last couple of games for the guys but overall they still have a 7-3-0-0 record in the last 10 games and a meeting with the Wolves can really help boost the teams confidence while getting themselves back into the win column. Heck, maybe they can get a few on the power play and boost their confidence there as well? Maybe the can fish out a couple PP goals?!

did somebody say fish sticks? |
As much as the Colts would love to get back on a winning track tonight you KNOW Sudbury wants that even more. In the last 13 games Sudbury has a 0-10-3-0 record. As mentioned earlier, a win could do a lot for this team. They can get a W and look at the season so far as an improvement from last already, and what better team to get confidence over than the Colts? We mentioned the win streak earlier. Sudbury wants to break that, and something like that could be a big boost for this team moving forward. However it would require a big collapse from the Colts goaltending and defense for this to happen, right?

why would it have an off button? |
Keys to Success: Just score goals. Barrie is clearly the stronger team but they need to get pucks on goal and stay disciplined. If Barrie can stay out of penalty trouble they should be able to use their skill to dominate most of the play in the Wolves zone. Play a simple and smart game and the Colts should be able to get the win tonight.
Players to Watch: Brendan Lemieux comes into tonight's game on a 6 game point streak. He has 10 points in those games. Brandon Prophet also heads into the game with 49 career OHL points and looks to get his 50th.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00!
